What We Believe

Seventh Day Adventists

Our Beliefs Seventh-day Adventists As a Seventh-day Adventist Church we share the historic doctrines of the major protestant churches, such as the eternal fatherhood of God our creator, the divine Sonship of Jesus Christ and the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.

We affirm Christ's death and resurrection and believe that salvation can only be obtained through the grace of God by faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Bible is God's Word to humankind and that it contains all you need to know about God, salvation and practical ways to happy living. As our name implies (Adventists), we look forward to the return of Jesus, when the dead in Christ will rise to life and an eternal life of peace and happiness will begin. Unlike most other Christian denominations, we observe the seventh-day (Saturday) as the Sabbath, as stated in the fourth commandment.

In a nutshell, our denomination is Christ-centered, grace-oriented and we welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures, status. Jesus Christ has offered salvation to all people. There are no exceptions.
