"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into ministry."
- 1 Tim 1:12 NKJ
Ministries
What is ministry?
Ministry in
the New Testament comes from the
Greek word "diakoneo" meaning
"to serve." Ministry is giving
oneself in service to God and
for His people. Those who serve
Jesus and others in His name are
following His Example.
(Gen. 39:4), (Num. 11:28, 16:9),
(I Kings 19:21), (Ps. 103:20),
(Matt 4:11, 8:15, 20:26-28,
27:55),
(Acts 1:17, 6:1-6), (I Cor.
12),(1 Tim. 3)
