Our Mission

By the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Woodbridge SDA Church Exists to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.  Teaching them to observe all the Lord Jesus has commanded in His Word, and we know He is with us until His soon return.

Pastor Lola Johnston

Pastor Lola Moore Johnston is a native of Elizabeth, NJ and is the first of three daughters born to Marilyn and Calvin Moore III. She felt the call of God on her life at an early age and began serving in various ministry capacities at the Trinity Temple SDA Church in Newark, NJ. She emerged as a leader and change-agent during her studies at La Sierra University in Riverside, CA where she graduated with a BA in Religious Studies.
Her preparation continued at the SDA Theological Seminary at Andrews University where she earned the Master of Divinity. Since then, she has served the Lord as Chaplain in Orlando, Florida and Pastor at the Oakwood University Church in Huntsville, AL; Maranatha and Emmanuel Churches in NW Florida and the Nashville Riverside Church in Tennessee. Her service in that region culminated with her appointment as Young Adult Director for of the South Central Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists in 2015. Along with formal ministry, Pastor Johnston is blessed to share the good news of Jesus as recording artist, empowerment coach and author.
While bountifully blessed to enjoy success personally and professionally, God saw fit to bless her even more and with great joy, Pastor Johnston married her friend and partner in life, Keith Johnston in November of 2016.

About Seventh-day Adventists

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is a mainstream Protestant church with approximately 19 million members worldwide, including more than one million members in North America. The Seventh-day Adventist Church seeks to enhance quality of life for people everywhere and to let people know that Jesus is coming again soon.
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father’s will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone.
When He returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists are among the believers who look forward to that day.
Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything—the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us—is part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.
