Youth Ministry Day

(February 29th)

1 Timothy 4:12

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Facing Adversity…..Keeping it 100.
After Adversity Comes Great Achievement

Join us February 29th at 11:00 am for Youth Day.
Pastor Ishmael Wade joins us from Capitol Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church in Washington D.C.   He will deliver a sermon for both the youth and young at heart.  His personal mission statement is “to love Christ supremely, to serve humanity with humility and to live this life for eternity.”

The Woodbridge SDA Youth Ministry focuses to ensure that each youth is aware that God loves them and that He has a unique plan and purpose for their life. We will also help to prepare them for life, relationships, service, and leadership.
The Family That Prays Together Plays Together
4:00 pm

We all love cheering for a famous athlete or our favorite football team.  Even shy or introverted persons often will shout out and cheer.  As Christians, it is even more important that we dedicate a time of cheer to our Lord as well as to our fellow Christians.  Ecclesiastes 9:11 (ESV) says, “Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor the bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.”  To win a competition takes more than strength or quickness, it takes determination, wisdom, planning and preparation.  This verse encourages us to do whatever we do with all our might and to use wisdom.  If we keep our eyes on the Lord, we will succeed in every area of our lives.
Challenge ourselves to work together in unity and encourage us to depend on God to achieve the ultimate goal.
Audience/Age Group:  All ages /Christian & Non-Christian
Family Movie Night
6:30 pm

Woodbridge SDA Family Life Ministry invites you to join us for a special showing of OVERCOMER. Filled with a powerful mix of faith, a twist of humor, and a ton of heart, this movie is bought to you by the creators of FACING THE GIANTS, FIREPROOF, COURAGEOUS, and the #1 box-office hit, WAR ROOM.   In this movie, basketball coach John Harrison’s high school team is crushed by the closing of the town’s largest employer. Hundreds of families move, leaving him running a struggling cross-country program. But then he meets Hannah and begins helping this unlikely runner attempt the impossible in the year’s biggest race. OVERCOMER dares to leave you filled with hope, inspired to dream, and asks the question: what do you allow to define you?

Free admissions: Concessions Available.
Invite your friends and come out for a night of fun and fellowship.
