The Goal of Children's Ministries

A place to grow

Provide a nurturing and engaging environment where children can encounter God’s love, learn foundational biblical truths, and grow in their faith journey. These ministries typically offer age-appropriate teachings, activities, and experiences that help children develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, discover their identity as beloved children of God, and integrate Christian values into their daily lives. Additionally, children’s ministries often serve as a support system for families, equipping parents and caregivers with resources and tools to nurture their children’s spiritual development at home. Ultimately, the goal of children’s ministries is to lay a solid foundation for lifelong discipleship and empower the next generation to impact the world for Christ

Nurturing Spiritual Growth

The Adventurer program was created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as a child’s primary teachers and evangelizers. The program, which covers children in grades 1-4, aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas. Through the Adventurer Program, the church, home, and school can work together with the parent to develop a mature, happy child.

Vacation Bible School

Through interactive lessons, games, crafts, music, and fellowship, VBS creates a fun and memorable environment where children can explore biblical truths and principles in a way that is age-appropriate and relevant to their lives. Additionally, VBS often serves as a tool for evangelism, reaching out to children in the community who may not regularly attend church and offering them the opportunity to hear the gospel message in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
