A Ministry Plan for our Youth:
Reclaiming, Retaining, and Recruiting Young Disciples for Christ
RECLAIMING

During the past two years, we have been going through a major pandemic which has caused the churches to be closed and all activities ceased. We have lost a lot of our youth through graduating from high school, going to college and relocating to other locations. However, we still have a parade of youth that we will need to reclaim and rebuild. Now that the church is back open and we are allowed to have activities, we want to reclaim our youth and get them back actively involved in the church and the word of God.
RECLAIMING

We will build our youth to be disciples. We will teach them the word of God and the great commission. The great commission has commissioned us to go, tell and baptize. We will teach our children how to study the word of God and become disciples and tell others about Jesus Christ.  The youth will be taught the word of God on how to read and study the bible. We will teach them how to witness to their friends, family, and others. We will build their trust up in recruiting others to come to Christ and others who have been lost along the way from church.  Our goal is to recruit existing youth who have strayed away or new individuals who need to be reclaimed and lost souls.
RETAINING

It is vital that we retain our youth through bible studies, prayer,
outreach and building personal relationship with them. Also teaching our youth the importance of having a personal relationship with God. Retaining our youth is ensuring that we meet their needs and understand their challenges in life and their concerns. We will aid our youth through continuing to help them in wherever is needed through whether it be prayer, love, support, and attention. We will keep an updated roster of all youth and personally contact them weekly to ensure they are ok and see if they need anything.
